THE 2012 HYUNDAI I20 FLUIDIC HATCHBACK, IN TEAM ICB’S RENDER!

Here is Team ICB’s render that our roving eye in the sky, EarthFusion, has delivered to us. Many versions of the Fluidic i20 are being tested all across the world including India. We anticipate the i20 Fluidic to be more of a mid career makeover than a full model change, with the same platform being retained when Hyundai fuses the Fluidic fromt end design with the rest of the car. The spyshots too seem to indicate this to be the case as very little of the exterior’s shape seems to have changed. Other reports also claim that Hyundai is working on a comprehensive full model change for the i20.

HYUNDAI EON LPG HATCHBACK: THE NEXT LPG FUEL SIPPER FROM HYUNDAI INDIA!

Hyundai Eon Small Car

Right from the outset, a diesel heart was never in the immediate scheme of things for the Hyundai Eon hatchback, whose 800cc petrol engine meant that the car would sit at the bottom of Hyundai’s portfolio as the brand’s volumes spinning entry level offering. The recent move by Hyundai India, to go slow on its diesel engine plant plans only means that a small capacity diesel engine that could perhaps find its way into the Eon is further away from reality. However, what isn’t is an LPG fuel option for the Hyundai Eon.

HYUNDAI SANTRO XING FLUIDIC RENDERED, IN A RIOT OF IMAGINATION AND SPECULATION!

Hyundai Eon Small Car

When Hyundai India pulled the wraps off the big volume puller small car. the Eon hatchback, and also announced that the bread and butter Santro Xing would continue to do duty alongside the Eon, many of us were surprised. While Maruti Suzuki regularly follows this practice, mostly to a successful end, only time will tell whether Hyundai India’s strategy will actually pay off. In a car market that is clearly in the throes of a slowdown, the Eon hasn’t exactly expanded Hyundai India’s market. Instead, the small car seems to have eaten up into the Santro Xing’s market share.

Honda City Regains sales over Verna and Vento

Months ago, the Honda City was struggling to sell with the Volkswagen Vento ,first, and then the Hyundai Verna Fluidic comprehensively outselling Honda’s flagship model. A price cut of INR 66,000 however seems to have turned the tide for the Honda City Sedan, which was losing ground rapidly due to it being overpriced for the features it offered.

IS THIS THE UPCOMING HYUNDAI H800 SMALL CAR?

A Facebook page which appears like, but isn’t Hyundai India’s official page, has been carrying an image that piqued our interest earlier today. The image in question is apparently the upcoming Hyundai H800 Small Car, which will be launched very shortly by Hyundai India for the Indian market. While the speculative render does appear to carry the “Fluidic” design philosophy that Hyundai has adopted globally, there’s isn’t anything else to suggest that the render will be anything like the Hyundai H800 Small Car we’ll get to see in the next couple of months.
