YAMAHA’S FIRST SCOOTER FOR INDIA WILL BE CALLED THE RAY; UNVEILED AT THE AUTO EXPO!


Yamaha India has pulled the wraps off its first scooter for the Indian market, the Yamaha Ray. This scooter will be targeted mainly at women and resembles the Honda Dio. Built for petite frames, the Ray will be smaller than the other scooters in the market and will be launched in India very soon along with pricing details. The Ray will also have attractive women friendly colors like pink and yellow, to further emphasize on its positioning for the fairer sex. Bollywood actor and Yamaha brand ambassador, John Abraham, was the added attraction at the Yamaha pavilion and that was just another step that Yamaha took to get the fairer sex swooning.

NEW YAMAHA R15: MORE IMAGES SURFACE!





The new Yamaha R15 apparently has hit the Karivardhan race track in Coimbatore, for an Ad film of the new model. From these images, it can be clearly seen that the new motorcycle is the Yamaha R15, based on the badging on the exhaust muffler of the new R15. From certain angles, the fat rear tyre of the R15 now gives the motorcycle enough rubber to look like a proper sportsbike along with the raised rear, and this is something that many prospective R15 owners will particularly love.

Yamaha FZ16 Review


Yamaha bikes have always been famous for their designs and powerful performance. Many international bike brands have made entry in the Indian bike market. Following this there has been an increase in the demand for exotic looking powerful bikes. As per the demand many companies have introduced several bikes that draw inspiration from these international bike brands. The Yamaha FZ16 is one such bike with an international design and aggressive styling.

The Yamaha YZF R1 was launched in India first in 2007 and became a huge hit in the Indian bike market.
