This latest announcement by Nissan underscores the importance of its Indian manufacturing unit in the overall scheme of things. In fact, the automaker exported many more Micra hatchbacks than it sold in the domestic market, a clear pointer to the fact that India is soon emerging as a hub of low cost automotive manufacturing to challenge the likes of China and Brazil.

NISSAN SUNNY’S TEASER WEBSITE GOES ONLINE

As we all know, Nissan has formally unveiled the Nissan Sunny in India. The car was revealed to the media at an event earlier in the year. Nissan India has announced cash discounts on the X-Trail SUV. Nissan is offering Rs 1 lakh off on the X-Trail which is available in three variants. The Nissan X-Trail range in India starts at Rs 22.2 lakh for the base manual variant and Rs 26.5 lakh for the top-of-the-line automatic variant. Nissan GT-R Review

Nissan GT-R is a car that will be launched in India at the end of 2010 by the automobile giant Nissan. This sports car was initially launched in Japan in 2007. The car is also called Godzilla and was launched in US in 2008. It had its worldwide release in 2009.
