Tata Motors is a leading automobile company in India and is known to launch cars that have superior technology delivering consistently high performance. The company is now ready to launch a car in the multi utility vehicle segment called Tata Aria. The car will be launched in May 2010. The car is built on the roadster concept.
Tata Aria Specification
The Tata Aria comes equipped with 2.2L DICOR engine and this can deliver power of 140 bhp at 4000 rpm and peak torque of 320 Nm at 1700 to 2700 rpm. The three variants of the car will have 4WD and 2WD options. The length of the car is 4780mm and its width is 1895mm while its height is 1780mm.
The Tata Aria review reflects that the car can cross 100 km/hr mark in 14 seconds and can touch top speed of 162 km/hr. The engine has variable turbine technology feature and this delivers good power as well as torque. The car has 5-speed manual transmission and the handling and braking of the car is excellent.

Tata Aria Interiors
The interiors of the car are quite spacious and are decorated in dual tone beige color. The steering wheel is four spoke and the controls are mounted on the steering wheel. The car has advanced instrument cluster and this is placed behind steering wheel. The car has LCD screen placed on the dashboard along with audio system comprising of 3D sound. The car has dual air conditioning along with automatic climate control as well as cruise control feature. The car can carry seven passengers and the second as well as third row can be folded.
Tata Aria Safety features
The car has several safety features and these include 2 airbags, anti lock brake system along with ESP. The car has fog lamps, parking sensors and seats belts for all passengers.
Tata Aria Price and design variations
The price of the car is around Rs 12 lakhs to 14 lakhs. The car is available in three design variations and these include Tata Aria EX, Tata Aria GX and Tata Aria LX.
