Suzuki Gladius Review


The automobile and bike sector has grown phenomenally and following this several companies have launched super bikes in India. These bikes are typically purchased by individuals belonging to the high class segment. Suzuki Gladius is one such bike. This bike is expected to be launched in the Indian market at the end of 2010 and will be competing with the likes of Ducati, Kawasaki and Yamaha.

As per the Suzuki Gladius review the bike will be equipped with a 645cc, 4 stroke 2 cylinder V twin DOHC engine. This engine will be able to deliver power of 67 bhp at 9000 rpm along with peak torque of 63 NM at 7600 rpm. The bike has 6 gears feature and steel truss chassis. The length of the bike is 2130mm and its width is 760mm while its height is 1090mm.
The gears of the bike have constant mesh transmission and this allows shifting of gears to be simple and smooth. The fuel injection system of the bike allows perfect use of oil. The engine also has features that ensure low vibration as well as noise. The bike has dynamic suspension consisting of telescopic fork along with coil spring for front. The bike also has rear link with coil spring suspension which is adjustable. This suspension provides excellent stability.
The Suzuki Gladius review indicates that the bike has twin 290mm 2 piston calliper front brakes and 240mm single disc piston calliper brake. The brake system of the bike is powerful. The bike weighs 202 kg and the fuel tank limit of the bike is 14.50 litres. The bike has wheelbase of 1445mm.

The instrument panel is also quite classy and has digital fuel gauge and speedometer. The bike has a shoe type seat and it is extremely comfortable.
